It’s always a pleasure to dine at Stadel for their unmatched hospitality and of course for the good food which is available out there. Last week I was at this place for their Durga Puja menu launch. To be honest, I was floored seeing the mouth watering delicacies which were all presented in front of me. Everyone can taste these special dishes at their ‘Durga Pujo-r Mahabhoj 2016’ which will run from Saptami to Dashami (i.e. Oct 8th to Oct 11th) at First Innings restaurant. Later I will try to post some recipes of their traditional Bengali dishes in my blog as well, but right now let us check out what they have got in store for this durga puja to treat or taste buds! I am providing all the relevant details here so that you can just do your reservation, go there and enjoy your meal.
The spread is categorized into two parts – the Lunch/Dinner Buffet and the A-la-carte menu. So let’s first check out the buffet spread and then we will move on to the next section.
Pocket Pinch: INR 1199 + Tax = Rs. 1445/- all inclusive per person, per buffet.
Early bird offer till 2nd October: Rs. 999/- + Taxes = 1204/- A.I. – per person, per buffet.

Timing: Lunch – 12noon to 4 p.m and Dinner – 7 p.m. onwards.

Welcome Drink – These are the welcome drinks options: Gandhoraj Doi Ghol, Jal Jeera & Gol Lebur Sorbat
Live Chaat Counter – This includes amazing Fuchka Counter, Papri Chat & Aloo Cholar Chat counters.
Salad – This includes Green Salad, Russian Salad, Chicken Noodle Salad & Thai Raw Papaya Salad
Bhaja Bhuji – The fried side items include Beguni , Bori Bhaja, Vegetable Chop, Jhur Jhure Aloo Bhaja, Badam Diye Lal Saag Bhaja & Dimer Chop
Torkari – The vegetarian side dish includes Chanar Kofta, Dhokar Dalna, Potoler Dolma & Aloo Phulkopir Torkari.
Dal – Narkol Diye Cholar Dal & Macher Matha Diye Moong Dal
Miscellaneous items – Hing Kachori, , Dhakai Pulao & Steamed rice
Maach – And now comes the fish dishes – Chingri Bhapa & Pabda Tel Bori Jhal, Katla Kalia & Grilled Fish.
Mangsho – Then there comes the star items – Morich Murgi Jhol & Mutton Dakbanglow
Chutney – This has one option of Aamsatto Kherjurer Chutney
Bhaja Papad
Mishtimukh – Now coming to the sweets, we have several options like Misti Doi, Chanar Jilipi, Rosogolla & Chocolate Monte Carlo.
And finish off your meal with some Mukhsuddhi and Misti Paan.
